Telos takes its name from the Greek τέλος: the end, the goal, the purpose toward which a thing moves. In an industry that often confuses motion with progress, we think the discipline of naming the destination first is most of the work.
The firm
Telos was founded by investors and operators who spent their careers inside hotel ownership, acquiring, repositioning, and running independent properties across four continents.
The firm exists because the boutique hotel market is chronically mispriced: assets trade on stories while the truth lives in the operating statement. We built Telos to be the buyer that reads the operations first, because we are operators ourselves.
Between us we have lived in seven countries and work in seven languages. That is not trivia: hotels are local businesses, and diligence done in the local language finds what translation loses. We invest only where we have that depth.
